The Phone tech support Services group is comprised of the Technology Product Center, Technology Service Center, UCF IT Support Center, and the Technology Commons.
Technology Commons The Technology Commons is available for use by UCF students and staff. Currently, there are three labs:
Classroom Bldg 1 Lab (CB-101)
Technology Commons Collaboration Lab (TC2)
Technology Commons 1 Computer Lab (TC1)
Hours may change during semester breaks, as well as mid-terms and finals weeks. Currently, there are approximately 130 Dell desktops, and 45 iMAC available in the labs that have approximately 130 software applications available. To encourage green printing, there is a minimal fee for laser printing services. The labs have both color and black and white printers and document scanning services are also available. Lab consultants are trained on basic network and software products to assist students. The main phone number for the Technology Commons is the Student Support Desk at 407-823-4357 (HELP).
IMG_1584n falling-tech-1-1024x635 - Copy (2) Technology Product Center The Technology Product Center offers online and retail shopping experiences for the UCF community (UCF departments, students, staff and faculty). The retail store is located in the Technology Commons (TC2-103). The Technology Product Center is the authorized campus reseller for Dell, Apple, Microsoft, Adobe, CDWG, Sprint, and AT&T and has negotiated discounts (up to 80% off retail for software) for their products and services. The Technology Product Center provides online shopping at the UCF Computer Store which carries a wide variety of accessories and supplies that are not stocked in the retail store. These products can be special ordered and either picked up on campus or shipped directly to the customer.
