Instagram has just made a change related to stories, you may have already seen it, but if you don't know how it works, we'll tell you what the heart or likes mean in Instagram Stories. Until now, to indicate that you liked the story of one of your contacts, you could send a reaction, which the other person received in the form of a private message. You could send a heart, a "little fire," or write a message directly from the text bar that appears below the story. This hasn't changed, and it's still a way to start talking to someone on Instagram, but there's a new way to like it. We tell you!
WHAT DOES THE HEART OR LIKES MEAN IN INSTAGRAM STORIES If you have recently entered this social network, you may have received a message announcing that "now you can indicate that you like the stories" in another way, but if you have not received it, we will explain what the heart or likes mean on Instagram Stories. It is, indeed, the new way of giving likes, which does not replace the messages, but complements them. If you want to indicate that you like a story, but not send a message, there is a solution, because that is precisely what the heart is for, which from now on you will see in the lower right part of each story, as we show you in the following image.
HOW TO LIKE INSTAGRAM STORIES To know how to like Instagram stories, you have to have the latest version of the application and just press your finger on the heart in the lower right (see the arrow that points to it in the photo above). When instead of a black background, it is seen in red, you will have already given the "like." Just like you would in a "normal" Instagram post.
WHO CAN SEE LIKES ON INSTAGRAM STORIES If you have liked, as we have explained above, you may be wondering who can see the likes in Instagram stories. Well, it's very simple, the person who published the story sees it. As before, this information is private, and, whether you send a message or just press the heart, this will be seen by the recipient of your "like." HOW TO REMOVE LIKES ON INSTAGRAM STORIES And what happens if you regret it or accidentally give it? Knowing how to remove likes on Instagram Stories is the simplest thing in the world: you just have to go back to the story in question and click on the heart (in red) again. You will see the background change color and become black again. Then your like will be gone. As simple as that!
