Memorandum

(a) Adopt a resolution authorizing the City Manager or designee to negotiate and execute the First Amendment to the Master Consultant Agreement with Price Waterhouse Coopers for digital inclusion and broadband strategy consulting services to provide additional consulting services related to the Internet of Things strategy and increase the City’s compensation in the amount of $200,000, funded in full by a Knight Foundation Grant, for a total contract amount not to exceed $515,000.

(b) Adopt the following Appropriation Ordinance and Funding Sources Resolution Amendments in the General Fund:

(1) Increase the City Manager’s Office Non-Personal/Equipment appropriation in the amount of $200,000; and

(2) Increase the estimate for Other Revenue by $200,000.
