This meeting is adjourned in memory of Jimi Yamaichi who peacefully passed away on May 12, 2018, at 95 years of age. He has built community from the ground up, whether it be through his talented carpentry or leading pilgrimage tours at Tule Lake and at the Japanese American Museum in San Jose Japantown. Despite having survived some of the darkest times of this country, Jimi has been an influential light of hope, kindness, and advocacy in our City.
