I support the proposal to accept the site selection for the San Jose Light Tower Monument. The design and illumination elements have not been determined. Those who oppose the project on the basis of alleged "light pollution" might consider the existing pollution from trash, debris and human waste that has been accumulating along the banks and in the area of Confluence Point, at no small risk to the wildlife that are currently struggling to survive in this challenging urban riparian habitat.
