• Open Forum
Members of the Public are invited to speak on any item that does not appear on today's Agenda and that is within the subject matter jurisdiction of the City Council.
• Adjournment
This meeting will be in memory of the Late Vice Mayor Iola Williams, who passed away on April 4, 2019, at the age of 83. In 1979, Vice Mayor Williams became the first African-American elected to the San José City Council, representing District 7 until her retirement in 1991. Her tenure included two terms as Vice Mayor, from 1981-1983. Vice Mayor Williams will be sorely missed here in San José, and remembered for her lifetime of dedication to public service, to civil rights, and to strengthening our community. She is survived by her seven children, seventeen grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
