I support the Memorandum submitted on June 7th by Councilmembers from D8, 5, 7, 2 & 3. The Budget Message doesn't address concerns of equity in our City using resources of our City to advocate for ICE notification, with no regard for the racial profiling upon which it relies & without any regard for violations of civil & constitutional rights of People of Color, especially Latinx residents. I don't support using any City resources to assist ICE in any way. The mayor identified himself Latino??
