I want to applaud the 9/13 memo from Mayor Liccardo and the other 4 CMs who signed on, recommending stronger reach codes than were outlined in Draft 2. If passed, this would be the most ambitious reach code of any big city in the nation...that is a big win! However, any new natural gas construction will not only continue to be bad for our planet and health but will also saddle residents with the expected future increase in price for natural gas. Let's work towards an all-electric future!
