Regarding agenda item "19-802 Building Reach Code for New Construction," I support the city's goals of requiring new construction to include 50% to be EV capable. But the proposed language of 8 amps per circuit is simply insufficient for today's electric vehicles. I therefore want to align my comments with those provided to the council by Tesla, ChargePoint and the Silicon Valley Leadership Group and implore the council to revert to the CalGreen Code standard of 40 amps per circuit.
Great posts! I am actually getting ready to across this information, is very helpful my friend. <a href="https://bloonstowerdefense5.io">bloons tower defense 5</a>
I oppose setting the Reach Code for 8 amp installation --- I urgently request that San Jose mandate that 40 amp breaker switches are required for all new construction to allow for installation of Electric Vehicle Charging capabilities. Thank you,
Sybil Cramer
