I am opposing the vineyard. During the signature campaign, we were never informed that the project would have a direct financial impact on the residents.
However, I am supporting the extra security on the hill.
Do not place the vineyard on the ballot or extra safety measures . Both would cause superfluous additional taxes and are pointless . The vineyard would also pose a health risk because of the exposed dirt laced with asbestos . Safety is NOT an issue up here . I run alone .Homeless never wander up here and cause problems and as for anything else maybe the occasional package goes missing and generally it’s the fault of the person delivering it to the wrong house . We’ve had this happen twice to us
I oppose the vineyard if it will result in additional taxes. The supporters of the vineyard, while they were collecting signatures, never brought it to our attention that this would result in increased taxes.
Security will be as everywhere else ineffective and waste of money. When I signed support for the vineyard I was convinced it will come out out any new taxes . I oppose both proposals
I am a resident of Communications Hill and I oppose supporting the vineyard project as information presented to residents by the proposers in local gatherings was misleading. Several residents were mislead about the cost they would pay for the project and were told the costs would come only from funds they were already paying in to the CFD. Most residents are UNAWARE of the additional tax increase.
I support additional security, however only as a separate standalone item.
Please do not place the vineyard on the ballot. I strongly oppose the vineyard. The vineyard is a financial burden and has little benefit to our community, which is being asked to financially contribute to its creation and maintenance. There are already serious concerns surrounding the asbestos from the KB Homes construction. The vineyard will also aggravate the asbestos and attract vermin. However, I support the increased security which is needed because we are experiencing safety issues.
I oppose both vineyard and security as these would increase residents' taxes.
Open to hearing more about alternate business models for the vineyard.
