On behalf of North Santa Clara residents, I have concerns regarding the proposed plan to expand San Jose Airport. While this is an opportunity for economic growth benefitting San Jose, there has been no consideration of the residents in North Santa Clara who are directly in the departure path and directly impacted 365 days a year. Residents are impacted all day long with planes taking off every 60-90 seconds WELL OVER 65 decibels. What about their quality of life? The value of their homes?
