Change the orders of the day to move the topic related to changing the Eviction Moratorium Ordinance to the TOP OF THE AGENDA. As we saw in previous meetings, this topic generates a lot of public interest / comment. But, it is pushed to the end of the agenda making it more cumbersome for the public to comment. This gives the appearance that the Council is dodging the public comments and any negative comments or criticisms from the public. This topic is of greater importance to the public.
There are efforts, at this time, to redefine, Orders of the Day.
And to be a place, only to, order & prioritize, items to be heard, on the day's agenda, with council approval.
It is then, on the days agenda - items can be more discussed.
Housing items, are now placed, at the end of an agenda. As it tends towards, longer, more open ended discussion.
