2) By email to city.clerk@sanjoseca.gov by 8:00 a.m. the day of the meeting. Those emails will be attached to the Council Item under "Letters from the Public." Please identify the Agenda Item Number in the subject line of your email.
I am vehemently opposed to the Strong Mayor proposal. Mayor Liccardo has shown time and again that he does not listen to his constituents now, which gives me little hope for a positive shift if Strong Mayor goes into effect. Please focus instead on what San Jose so desperately needs: police reform, community programs, affordable housing, and the building and beautification of our city. I implore you, and specifically my City Councilperson Dev Davis, to make sure this does not move forward.
