I oppose the SJPD's effort to weaken the ban.
SJPD's effort is not credible, especially in the context of their failure to act within their previous goal of not injuring members of the public during the recent loud but peaceful protests against the murder of George Floyd. I'm a member of the San Jose Japanese American community and I'm active with a grassroots organization called San Jose Nikkei Resisters.
