She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Larry Ames, and 3 sons Lewis, Logan, and Leif. Liv loved nature, exploring - especially by bicycle, and photography. She volunteered extensively for many environmental organizations and inspired many to get involved. She will be remembered most for her uniqueness, caring spirit, and love for her family. - City of San Jose
