I support memorandum from Jimenez, Jones, and David as effort to get passed inertia in enforcement of existing illegal fireworks laws. However, Gilroy uses safe and sane fireworks, and uses them for good causes. What we are seeing in neighborhoods are professional type fireworks that are making more damage to people with PTSD, and making fires more likely in this era of dryness in all areas of California. These fireworks today are not safe and sane. And, they are brought into our area illegally!
