I support San Jose's all electric requirement for new construction.
I understand that Bloom Energy is asking for an exclusion from this requirement. I strongly oppose this exclusion unless they commit to matching SJCE's proposed 2021 mix which will be 92% Carbon-Free.
Bloom's boxes are only cost effective as baseload power, meaning they continuously emit CO2 which is contrary to San Jose's goal of reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

I would like to voice my support for the proposed ordinance to prohibit natural gas infrastructure in newly constructed
buildings.
