Please Approve the Staff recommendation' to implement the "En Movimiento." Our transportation has become so reliant on cars that families in East San Jose have become households of 4 cars or more. The Eastside is already car cluttered and as BART arrives the traffic will become even more infamous. We need to support projects that improve alternatives ways to travel besides cars. En Movimiento has connected with the community to understand the best ways to approach this effort. TY4 your support

Please approve the Staff recommendation' to implement the "En movimiento" because it will make walking and riding a bicycle more convenient and safer in San José. If we make it safe to walk and bike (i.e. protected bike lanes), we can help the world be a better, safer & cleaner place.

Please approve Staff's recommendations. The En movimiento - East San José Multimodal transportation plan is needed by now more than ever! San Jose's BIke/Ped related deaths and seriously injured is too high.

As a San Jose resident, I strongly support all efforts to implement better facilities for bicycles, pedestrians and public transport, and to reduce the over-emphasis on cars. My work is in East San Jose, and the most dangerous part of my bike commute is in East San Jose. Safety is a huge factor in choosing the route I use. Since there is a lack of good east-west routes (despite the improvements on Tully road), I welcome this plan and urge you to support it. Thank you.

As a resident of the neighboring Willow Glen, I urge the council to "Approve the Staff recommendation. East San Jose roads have too many car lanes and too high speed limits - they are intimidating not only to bike, but even to drive. Need to slow down the traffic, and establish safe biking lanes.
