I'm writing to affirm the goals declared in the memo; to meet those goals, I respectfully suggest that the City of San Jose support an independent cost assessment of the previously studied twin-bore construction option.

I support the third point listed, which would instruct VTA staff to enlist a third party to review design options for the downtown station, and suggest that this concern applies to other stations as well.
