    Honorable City Councilors,

    I am writing to voice my support for the Mayor's budget, in particular the provisions related to library funding. SJPL is a valuable resource that benefits our entire community. I believe strongly in the work and mission of libraries, and the programs and resources that SJPL provides are exemplary. I urge you to pass a budget that includes ample funding for SJPL, and to restore library open hours to pre-pandemic levels.
