The department agrees w/items 204 and 207. We ask that: 1) Disability community members should be part of the team drafting/reviewing the draft work plan 2) reviewing the draft RFP document 3) and should be on the evaluation panel. Otherwise we have training plans addressing the needs of the disability community, being developed without the community being involved.
Appreciate you considering these recommendations, but I have serious concerns. One of the most concerning is that you disagree with all oversight recommendations. Your priority determination is completely missing community impact and community relations. Troubling given the lack of trust the public has with SJPD. There are many items that overlap from CNA, IPA and RIPS. Recommend consolidating similar recommendations to highlight the issues that are supported by all 3 advisory groups.
