I'm concerned that the San Jose Animal Care Center is now going to start euthanizing dogs for space. They do not adhere to Maddie's Fund recommendations or positive methods of interactions with the dogs. Lobo, in the video below, will be euthanized after tomorrow, February 8th, because staff report that he growls at them when they touch him around his neck. Animals are not being recorded. Residents have no choice but to abandon found dogs. During their end of year presentation, SJACC stated that they would gather information on these animals.
