Hi there I live near and have family in the seven trees area the Capitol and Monterey encampment has been a problem very unsafe and unsanitary we need a long term solution plus eviction abatement process we have a lot of schools and our community center nearby we should be able to feel safe and have a clean environment the pass plans have failed we need that underpass bridge with some cement project to keep the homeless from living there why can’t our are be controlled and clean like other area
Hello. I live in the Seven Trees Neighborhood. I'm in the process of getting my license. I use public transportation and walk a lot because my school is in in Palo Alto. The difference is huge. I'm tired of seeing homeless people here all the time. When I go to the library, I can see people from the encampments on Capitol Expressway cross into traffic or head my way. There's trash everywhere. It doesn't feel safe or clean anywhere here. The city should take care of this neighborhood.
From D7, Seven Trees Neighborhood. I strongly urge you to support this amendment. We can't walk or ride without running into an encampment, a dumpster pile for adjacent encampments, loose dogs from encampments or strung out individuals in various states of distress. There are feces, rats, trash, stolen property, and last year three fires were started before action was taken. This year, the same encampments have been allowed to restart on the sidewalk on Capitol Expressway. Please solve this.

I am a resident of D7 and within walking distance of a blighted area near Capitol Expressway and Monterey Road.
This has been an on going problem for our neighborhood and needs to be addressed and solved.
As a D7 resident & board member of the Seven Trees Neighborhood Association, I am in strong support of this amendment to the agreement. Daily we encounter the unsafe, unsightly, and unsanitary homeless encampments on Capitol Expressway at Monterey Road. When this agreement was first put into effect we saw an improvement in the area, but lately encampments are growing and the safety and sanitary issues are increasing. 1000's of people see this daily and it should be a top priority for the City.
