This meeting will be adjourned in memory of the remarkable and dedicated life of Dr. Daniel Coleman who passed away on May 20th, 2023. Dr. Coleman was an incredible and passionate counselor at the Washington United Youth Center for many years and worked tirelessly with underserved youth in the Washington-Guadalupe neighborhood. It is without a doubt that Dr. Coleman's impact and legacy will be felt for generations to come as his civic service has been an inspiration to countless San José youth who will continue to advocate for their families and communities.

1.1 Presentation of a commendation to the board members and 2023 student winners of the annual Synopsys Science and Technology Championship to recognize the visionary ideas and groundbreaking student projects that will contribute to the City of San José and the global community. (Cohen)

1.2 Presentation of a proclamation declaring June 2023 as Pride Month to recognize the City of San José's vibrant and diverse LGBTQ+ community. (Foley, Davis, Torres)

1.3 Presentation of a Commendation to the members of the SJPD Mobile Emergency Response Group and Equipment (MERGE) Unit for their valor, honor, bravery, and fortitude in the line of duty on February 3, 2023. (Doan)
