I urge increased funding and staff support to accelerate delivery of Vision Zero build-out projects (including but not limited to separated bike lanes, leading pedestrian indicators at all intersections, traffic calming, bicycle superhighway network, and quick-builds), to save lives and make our streets more pleasant. Please also provide approvals/funding/projects that VTA requires to implement 100% signal priority for light rail and frequent buses. More reliable transit is safer transit.
