We need more support for our animals and animal care in the south bay, we are in desperate need and we want our Government to be forthcoming with money for these dire services, the animals have no voice but our own and we will speak louder for them and they WILL NOT BE FORGOTTEN...
Given the importance of the animal shelter and its significant impact on various aspects of our community, I respectfully request that the city of San Jose considers allocating additional funds to support its operations and development. I urge us to prioritize animal welfare and recognize the value of a well-funded shelter for both animals and our community as a whole.
I humbly request that the City Council prioritize funds to support the animal shelter. I believe that investing in our animal shelter is not only a compassionate choice but also a decision that benefits our community in numerous ways. By doing so, we can collectively demonstrate our commitment to animal welfare, enhance public safety, foster community engagement, and contribute to the overall well-being of our city.
There is a feral cat crisis in San Jose. The shelter is over capacity and not accepting animals for spay or neuter. Lack of spay and neuter services for feral cats is causing an over population of cats that suffer on the streets. Please allocate more funding for pay and neuter services and TNR.
