1.1 Presentation of a proclamation recognizing July as Parks and Recreation Month to promote building strong, vibrant and resilient communities through the power of parks and recreation and to celebrate the vital role park and recreation professionals play in bringing people together, providing essential services, and fostering growth in our community (Davis).

1.2 Presentation of a commendation to Juanita Morales-Euresti for her dedicated service as Director of the San José Vet-Center in the City of San José. (Torres)

1.3 Presentation of a commendation recognizing the San José Pickleball Club for their dedication to utilizing the sport of pickleball to create a welcoming space that fosters new connections and relationships for the collective good of our community. (Foley)
