I am in support of the City of San Jose pursing this initiative to establish a municipal utility for electric service. The report created by City Staff presents compelling facts about why moving forward with this initiative is a good idea that in the long run benefits our residents, businesses, the workers who maintain the power equipment and the environment. I was born and raised in San Jose and I was able to have a short 5-year stint in Santa Clara. SVP is a great model to follow.

I urge council to cease all study on this risky idea. SJC will not develop its own grid. SJC will still be dependent on getting its power from PGE. The transmission lines will deliver power that PGE will still generates, owns & allots to SJC. The creation of a new "union" and the creation of a whole new bureaucracy consisting of three divisions is unacceptable. Any more study costs money;reduces staff timeto serve the residents. Votersmustapprove!! Stop expansion of govmt Budget wont allow it

Why was the beach next to the power plant closed?
Because it is spark infested waters.

San Jose Power is good for San Jose! Vote Yes!
