1.1 Presentation of a proclamation declaring Silicon Valley Pride Week, August 21-27, 2023 to recognize the City of San José's vibrant and diverse LGBTQ+ community. (Foley, Davis and Torres)

1.2 Presentation of a commendation recognizing the partnerships developed with Silicon Valley Career Technical Education (SVCTE) to prepare Santa Clara County's youth for the career pathways of tomorrow. (Batra and Foley)

1.3 Presentation of a commendation to Taqueria Lorena's for being a community staple while also being an inclusive space, culturally diverse, and a comfortable place for many residents while also providing low-income neighbors and unhoused residents free meals. (Torres)
