1. CEREMONIAL ITEMS

1.1 Presentation of a proclamation declaring December 1, 2023 as World AIDS Day in the City of San José to urge all residents to remain steadfast in the campaign to end the HIV/AIDS epidemic, to show support for people living with and affected by HIV, and to remember those who lost their lives to AIDS. (Foley & Torres)

1.2 Presentation of a proclamation declaring November 25, 2023 as Small Business Saturday to celebrate, promote and support San José's small businesses and all they do for our local communities. (Ortiz)

1.3 Presentation of a proclamation declaring November 2023 as National Adoption Month in the City of San José to increase awareness of adoption issues, bring attention to the need for adoptive families for teens and youth in the foster care system, and emphasize the value of youth engagement. (Davis)
