I would like to bring up something that I consider very important. Often people who are victims of property crimes such as car and house break-ins, burglaries, petty theft, simple assaults, and even robberies are blamed for the crime that they are victims of.
There are several posts online in various social media outlets where people residing in San Jose have been told not to fill out a report or contact the police. I would like Staff and counsel to encourage people to report A crime. Thank you
