This meeting will be adjourned in memory of Donna Jewett, who passed away on September 23, 2022. Ms. Jewett was a trailblazer as one of the first female officers for the San José Police Department and the very first female supervisor for the San José Police Department Central Identification Unit.

1. CEREMONIAL ITEMS
1.1 Presentation of a proclamation declaring November 2022 as Native American Heritage Month to celebrate the history, contributions and diverse cultures of the Native American Community. (Carrasco)
1.2 Presentation of a proclamation declaring December 1, 2022 as World AIDS Day to show support for people living with and affected by HIV and to remember those who lost their lives to AIDS. (Foley)
1.3 Presentation of a commendation to Mario and Emma Ramirez recognizing their outstanding dedication and commitment to keeping District 2 clean, safe, and litter free. (Jimenez)
1.4 Presentation of a commendation recognizing Chris Patterson-Simmons for her endless commitment to supporting our small businesses, serving as the President of the East Santa Clara Business Association for many years and for being a member of the Greater Downtown San José Economic Recovery Task Force. Chris has dedicated countless hours to helping to make the City of San José what it is today. (Peralez)
2. CONSENT CALENDAR
Notice to the public: There will be no separate discussion of Consent Calendar items as they are considered to be routine by the City Council and will be adopted by one motion.
