Oppose. My mortgage on my rental is not covered by the CARES or anything else. What am I supposed to do? What about the property tax, insurance, maintenance and repair expense etc? Is SJ and the County going to forgive business license tax and property tax? Focus on finding real solutions like SJ giving financial assistance to tenants needing help to pay rent. Don't just "kick the can" down the road and create another layer of problems/instability. Please come up with a better plan.

Many Paid 2nd install of prop tax due 2 on April 10th no delay offered.no options just a fine for delay. Why no hold on that? How r we 2 protect r homes and ability to pay mortgage if we can’t get reimbursed in rents? Vacant homes can’t be shown for rentals now due to covid19- another loss. Jobs lost in that housing arena from realty to cleaning. We need help we can’t afford to lose a home we have worked so hard to obtain and keep. Solutions please!
Strongly oppose. Without a mortgage suspension, this would single out landlords as the subset of the population that's forced to bear the financial burden of this crisis. There are a number of state and federal actions already being taken to support all citizens, based on how significantly they've been impacted and their need.

How are landlords supposed to pay mortgages? Are you suspending the need to pay mortgages too? I strongly oppose this resolution.
