We need to focus on stopping transmission and the vaccine doesn’t do that… bottom line. Transmission happened when the CDC told the vaccinated it was ok to remove their masks! It should be our choice on how we defend our bodies. Trust in God! No vaccine can save you when God says your coming with me!

Is this a free country or not? Vaccine mandates do not promote freedom. Americans should have a CHOICE.

Do not mandate vaccines! We will vote everyone out in this city if you mandate anything. Our right to chose. Even vaccinated people do NOT want mandates!

Vaccination should be one's choice and not a government or employer control.

I am writing as yet another citizen fleeing California due to the oppressive nature of its government. Forcing vaccinations is of course morally wrong and scientifically unfounded, with no cost/benefit analysis, but that hasn’t stopped most of the government decisions from being implemented over the 38 years I have lived in this formerly great state. Polls show many citizens will be leaving unless things improve, so make your decision in light of that fact, not in a way that pushes more out.

Your mandates are nothing more than a political game! Focus on the homeless mess in San Jose instead of trying to make this city a Communist run community.

You forgot that you are supposed to serve people wisely, not mandate for your convenience. This is government overstepping into medical field. Government is not doctor. Even doctors look into individual cases and evaluate each case differently, and doctors obtain informed consent before performing a procedure. Be a smart government, not a tyranny aligned with Parma interest!

I am horrified and disappointed that the city of San Jose is considering imposing vaccine mandates. You do realize this is medical tyrrany, don't you? There are many people across this state and nation that can't or won't be vaccinated for Covid-19 for various valid reasons. Do you truly believe that banning these people from businesses is the right thing to do for an illness that has a .02% fatality rate.

Everyone should have a choice! Choice should always be an option!

Please do not mandate the vaccine. I have several autoimmune disorders and my doctor at this time advises no vaccine for me while it’s in trial phase. If you mandate you’ll take away any freedoms I have to go anywhere. There are more people like me I’m sure. Please do not!!!

Biggest Crime against humanity!! Worse than neremberg trials! In fact, worse for the plain fact that people are ill informed and much truth is censored!

I VEHEMENTLY oppose ANY tyrannical vaccine mandate! What happened to My body, MY choice?! The vaccine is NOT for everyone, and we don’t need our city council acting like petty tyrants telling us all what to do! OPPOSE OPPOSE OPPOSE

    Against my rights & freedoms!
I am an American citizen and feel we need to stay to our constitutional rights. Freedom of choice. No one should be able to force one to be vaccinated to be able to participate in every day life! People should be allowed to choose to get vaccinated or not! This is unconstitutional! I am very much opposed!!

Vaccine status shouldn't matter. It'll only divide our community. Everyone should be accepted no matter what; be it race, religion, sexual preference, vaccine status - none of that should matter. Local government needs to back off & focus on other issues, (homelessness, insanely high cost of living here that's driving people away & causing families to struggle, etc.). Medical mandates are NOT a part of free society. There is no reason vaccinations for Covid should be required when there is a 99%+ survival rate due to your own immune systems. This is a political pull and a way to control people in a way America is in no way supposed to. This is San Jose. Not Germany. Be stronger than that, just because federal funding is threatened if they're not mandated, this to shall pass. Be the change not part of the problem

People should choose if they vaccinate themselves or not. This is unconstitutional and tyrannical to force it upon American citizens against their own personal judgment, health, and moral/religious beliefs.

Freedom is important for ALL citizens, those who chose to vaccinate and those who chose not to vaccinate. No medical procedure should be mandated in order to have the freedom to live, work, and recreate in the city of San Jose (or anywhere else in these United States per our US Constitution.)

I do not support the mandate of a vaccine. I support a person’s personal, medical, and religious right to decline. A mandate of such magnitude will result in economic downfall to San Jose, especially in small businesses. A mandate will also push California residents to leave the state.

Absolutely not. This is a backdoor attempt to exclude people of color from participating in everyday social life. POC have legitimate historical concerns not to trust their government. This is segregation. This is racism.
