Vaccine mandate discriminates against people who chose to not get the vaccination for many differing reasons from health concerns to religious convictions.
I am fully vaccinated because I made that choice. That's the way it should be, an individuals choice. If we want to make choices for everyone then maybe we should time wrap to World War II and look at history.
That didn't turn out too good.
A vaccine mandate is in humane and all it will do is set up a system of segregation and further divide our state. Enough is enough with the mandates and requirements- the virus is not going to be controlled by is, we need to learn to live with it. You do NOT want to do this- act like you deserve your positions on the board, else you will no longer have them. The people is San Jose do not want this!
In simple words: my body, my choice. There are many people who are immunocompromised who cannot take the vaccine for their own health, there are more people who have had the virus and now have natural immunity, and for many of those being reinfected is a danger to their health, and others who choose to fight the virus through therapeutics. It is DANGEROUS for a government to assume the role of medical decision maker over individual rights. Do not cross this line into oligarchy.
The government is a modern day Nazi regime, forcing it’s citizens to take an experimental vaccine with no test trial studies on long term effects. Seems it’s only concern is lining the wallets of the elite. Why aren’t the WhiteHouse staff mandated to take it? Employees of J&J, Pfizer, Moderna not mandated?? Rules for thee, but not for me?
Medical freedom is essential! MY BODY, MY CHOICE. (& my kid’s body, my choice.) Why should those who recovered from COV be required to get the vaccine? Naturally acquired immunity is FAR SUPERIOR & lasts for years if not forever. Ask any doctor who’s NOT dependent on Big Pharma for their livelihood. Why should I have to get it & then have my life insurance policy not pay out when I die because I took an experimental use product? Why should I have to take a product w/ more risks than COV itself?
This will cause a huge mass of segregation and discrimination and likely housing prices to decrease with lots of people wanting to leave the country and/or state of California! Let the people be in charge of their own lives that’s why we live in the USA!!
Mandating vaccines for participation in life is unconstitutional. It’s barbaric when we allow women to choose abortion, children to choose their gender, but not allow people the right to determine what is best for their health. It is our right to choose what to inject into our bodies.
Unbelievable that things have gotten to this point. Non vaccinated now need to get vaccinated to protect the vaccinated? Non-sensical to say the least, and preventing US citizens from doing their grocery shopping because they have made a personal medical decision is tyrannical.
And how would they account for those who have natural antibodies because they've had and recovered from Covid? And those unable to get the vaccine due to medical conditions? Are boosters necessary to have indoor status?

We should all have a choice of what we do with our own bodies. We unaware of the long term effects this may cause.
