We strongly oppose this development given the risk factors associated with this development. The proposed location is very close to a residential area and the crime issue is a major concern in this area

I strongly oppose the RV parking project:

    - The proposal exacerbates the already worsening safeties aroynd the neighbouhood, placing an additional burden on resources and services that are already struggling to cope.
    - The cost about19 million over 10 years for a lot that is valued at only 23 million (year 2021) is exorbitant. This raises concerns about the integrity of our city council and leaves people questioning the level of corruption within it.

We strongly oppose the proposal to build an RV Parking & Emergency Interim Housing at Berryessa Rd. How can a project at this location reduce the negative impacts on local neighborhoods? The location is near existing residential areas, new dense housing and business developments and close to the gateway (101) to Silicon Valley. This is too close to a heavily populated area and safety concerns will be a big issue for residents and business patrons.

Strongly oppose to the proposal since the plan site is too close to residential area and we already saw quite a few homeless around this area and some of them are very aggressive to the residents, which causing big concerns to all the residents. The new RV parking will lead the issue being more intensive.

We already have too many unhoused people in our area camping by the creek and in empty areas here and there.
Setting up an RV lot for emergency housing will only make the problem worse.

We strongly oppose this idea for our area. Seems like North San Jose is the target for many of these emergency housing plans, can we move these plans to another area that can better accommodate more emergency housing like Saratoga or Cupertino

This is not a good idea. The homeless places are full with a lot of different people some good some bad. Some with mental illnesses, anger issues, disabilities. That all equals to problems hey make messes to lazy to put trash in trash bens that we’re providing to them. It’s not a good idea at all.

A huge NO there’s already traffic in that area during busy hours due to dense residential area.

Don’t set up a homeless parking at 1300 Berryessa Rd. This will cause grave negative impact on the neighborhood security, sanitation conditions, and business. You should set up the homeless parking next to the city hall.

Having large residential area nearby, this nis not appropriate for existing residents for its negative impact with their lifestyle and hygiene habit, health hazardX lots trash and our home security concerns !

Doesn’t make any sense to build an extra RV site in this popular area, and close to developing retail residence and transit area.

Please don’t always put it to the east side. How about other portion of San Jose?

Doesn’t make any sense to build an extra RV site in this popular area. Homeless issue has become serious for recent years ,threatening the safety of the community. There are already enough homeless people in this area. Do you want them to fight with each other?

Please relocate the RV Shelter Parking to a less dense area of the city, especially considering the upcoming build-up of the Flea Marketing housing.

Strongly oppose as it will cause safety issue and reduce property value.

In past years we have already seen homeless people living near the coyote Creek brings a lot of challenges to our neighborhood, like stolen packages and fire near the Coyote Creek. Building a RV park would definitely attract homeless people back to the coyote Creek again.
