The "Recreational Vehicles Communities Support Parking" proposal is a deceitful scam. It is neither "recreational" nor safe. I strongly oppose to this proposal to dump unmovable "RV" to my neighborhood adding to the existing burden of homeless situation. This initiative has failed multiple times in the past. Why don't the City of San Jose officials learn any lesson from Seven Trees Community Center, Santa Teresa VTA Station, Roosevelt and Southside community centers, 71 Vista Montaña?

Placing a safe parking site for unhoused individuals, who undoubtedly need space to recuperate and rebuild their lives in such close proximity to a vibrant residential area with growing families will decimate home values, worsen public health and aggravate crime rates. The idea of hauling 180 plus non-working RVs to that location seems outrageous. The unhoused individuals who live near here DO NOT own RVs and they are in desperate need of mental health services. Providing safe parking is useless.

I oppose the plan for. Please tell me one city official who will invite this project to the area where he/she actually lives in! We know this will become a blight in any neighborhood because even with the two departments for homelessness in San Jose and the sanitary, trash, lewd conduct could not be controlled, how can a large area for parking of RVs be better? We had seen how the park near Taylor and Coleman became such a nightmare and had to be cleaned up or lose funding by the FAA.

Oppose “RV Parking at 1300 Berryessa Rd”.
There is no point to build the RV parking in this popular area. Build it next to the City Hall!

We have owned our home for 17 years and enjoy living in a virtually crime free and safe neighborhood; we would like it to stay that way. We shop at Safeway and would be concerned for our safe shopping if the RV park were put in place. Many of our neighbors feel the same.

My wife and I adamantly oppose the RV park proposal. Surely, there must be alternative available sites to locate this park that don't impinge on surrounding neighborhoods.

My concerns on the proposed initiative for the largest RV parking site.

    1. Safety: As a community, first and foremost we must prioritize the safety and well-being of our residents.
    2. Property values: The number of RVs would mar the aesthetics of our community and have long-term implications for property values.
    3. Community resources: The addition of RVs would place more burdens on the local roads, sanitation systems, and emergency services.

Request to reject the RV park proposal, thank you.

An RV park is a terrific idea, but planning one so close to our neighborhood isn’t. It’s already feeling unsafe because of the increased homeless population and I’m afraid this will only multiply the problem.

Strongly oppose the RV parking. There has been significantly increased safety/hygiene issues in and around Berryessa community, which was directly correlated with the homeless (absolutely NO bias). Stop using industrial zone as an irresponsible excuse and ruining the community by bringing more homeless. No one deserves broken cars, package thefts or kids being scared by random homeless. Even from business perspective, doesn't it look STUPID to develop Market Park and RV parking at the same time?

Strongly oppose. The neighborhood is unsafe now, delivered box gets stolen easily, and car break-in happens frequently. Please solve these safety problems first before any new plans which will cause new safety problems!!!
