8.4 23-842 City Initiatives Roadmap: Recreational Vehicles Communities Support Parking and Emergency Interim Housing. - TO BE HEARD CONCURRENTLY WITH ITEM 8.5
I oppose the proposal of homeless and shelter park in Barryessa. Huge concerns on already bad safety, security and environment( clean) of the community right now. No! No homeless and shelter park .
I oppose the RV Parking site in Berryessa Neighborhood located at 1300 Berryessa Road. Our community has suffered from countless criminal activities, including homeless problems. Building the RV parking site in Berryessa Neighborhood will attract more problems that impact the safety of our community.

Building a RV parking site on 1300 Berryessa Rd near future Berryessa Bart Urban Village site? That does not make sense for city development when you plan to build another “Santa Row” with RV parking site right next to it.
1300 Berryessa Rd
I am very worried about the safety in our community. There has been enough chaos in this community that make us feel hopeless. I beg you to listen to our voices.
We do not need to add more chaos to our neighborhood. We already have tiny homes one mile away from our home. We do not need another reason to feel unsafe in our neighborhood. How can the city guarantee that this will reduce the unhoused roaming around, reduce crimes and increase safety for the neighborhood?
As over 30 year tax-paying resident, I oppose the RV park. We have the tiny homes nearby already, lots of homeless in Coyote Creek. The homeless in the creek steal from the residents, plug the creek up with poop, do drugs, build their own houses, nudity and threaten the residents, start fires that could easily spread to our houses. How about the RV safe park on the outskirts of San Jose? Plus the cost of the land is not worth it for 45 RVs. Rent out another place on the outskirts of San Jose

The area has a recycling center that attracts many homeless and having RV site will make the matters worse and hard to manage
Against tv park for 1300 berryessa. Homeless is already an issue this will only make it worse
1300 berryessa rd. We had RVs parked down Sierra Rd last year and they dumped tons of trash everywhere, ruining our neighborhoods.
I would like to oppose 1300 Berryessa Rd as I own a business near here and there are already a lot of homeless wandering in front of the new builds.
