Any "mandate" of a medical intervention is ENTIRELY contrary to the Constitution of the state of California! And various other laws, especially the California Health and Safety Codes, as well as the US Constitution, which embodies the Nuremberg Code in Section 51, requiring "voluntary consent" WITHOUT COERCION!
I strongly oppose this vaccine mandate. People should have the freedom to choose. The council members who don't respect people's freedom to choose will not be council members anymore in the next election.
I strongly oppose any mandate that forces medical procedures on people who do not choose it for themselves. I am gravely concerned for the discrimination in the work place and elsewhere that will undoubtedly follow if this mandate is enacted.
I and my family firmly oppose the vaccine. We had Covid in early 2020 when there was no vaccine. We have antibodies and T-cells that prove it. We have been around the delta variant and never gotten sick again. We have strong immunity and will also not pass it. I am strongly opposed to requiring vaccine passports. Those who cannot take the Covid vaccine for medical, religious or other reasons will no longer be allowed to participate in society. This is no different than medical apartheid. Whatever happened to my body, my choice.

I oppose this mandate. It infringes on people’s right to privacy regarding their personal health information, among other issues. Especially by mandating an experimental vaccine that people should have the right to choose whether or not it is put in their body. And for people who have underlying conditions and want for their personal health and safety, or for moral reasons, to not receive the vaccine, their rights are being violated.
Anyone who wants the vaccine has the vaccine. We are at 87% 12 and older vaxed. Many of the unvaxed have natural immunity which is stronger than vax. Probability of healthy 19 and under in Santa Clara county is 0.0003% and for healthy 40-49 is 0.006% mandating vax in SCC at this moment makes zero sense.
I believe a freedom to choose. I’m a female in my late 40’s trying to get pregnant, and I have more then enough stacked against me, I don’t need the vaccine to desecrate my chances. My body my choice. How dare any of you think you have the power to take that away from any of us.

It is way way out of the scope of City officials to even consider mandating personal Heath issues . Messaging from CDC , FDA ,WHO has been scattered and confusing at best . Reports of adverse affects are adding up . I don’t believe a government official can sort through all the information any better than an individual needing to assess whether or not to vaccinate . The quest for power can be intoxicating .
This is against the Constitution of the United States of America and the Nuremberg Code that was enacted after WWII… to prevent experimental use of humans without their consent… Hitler being the Chief abuser.. This is a crime….not a personal opinion. On a personal note.. a 27 year old male in good health, a member of my church just died from a mandated vaccine… in his mother’s arms hours from being given The Shot! I cannot condone this Mandate!!
