I oppose any vaccine, mask or vaccine passport mandate. I attend church in San Jose. Given the fact that 51% of the population has been vaccinated or survived Covid, it is reasonable to presume that herd immunity has been reached. Discriminating against those not vaccinated or desiring to not wear masks is unnecessary and unconstitutional.
Please oppose any mandates for vaccines, masks or vaccine passports.

Are these council members crazy! Half of Californians will not get the vaccine which is their right, this is America the last time I looked. This would shut down California to half of our population.

I vehemently opposed any mandates taking away personal choice regarding our health. Until natural immunity is seriously taken into consideration, along with the liability of drug manufacturers in instances of vaccine injury, vaccination should not be forced or coerced.
We did live in the Cambrian area. We moved away because we were sick of the politics of discrimination which goes on in CA. We oppose vaccine passports as being discriminatory and a violation of human freedom to choose one’s own course of medical treatment. We have left behind children and friends in San Jose for whom we are greatly concerned.
I oppose this. As someone with a complicated medical history, I’m grateful for medical privacy that has protected me from being discriminated against in hiring, applying for insurance (pre-existing conditions), and more. I believe we should be free to make our own medical decisions and be able to evaluate our current health risks with our Drs who are qualified by the state of California medical board.
This is our Constitutional Rights that you guys are violating!! Must stop the mask and vaccine mandates when you all know it is wrong!! My health is my choice so enough is enough!!
I strongly oppose SJ's proposed vaccine mandate. There are many people who have suffered adverse effects of the vaccination in addition to others who have died from it. My chiropractor's daughter got a seizure a couple days after her first dose of the vaccine. There are also people who have already had COVID and likely have stronger immunity than those who have been vaccinated. Please take this into consideration and do not strip people of the liberty that this country is founded on.
I have family members and family members of friends who are vaccine injured from the Covid19 shot, at least 1 permanently so. Because of this, I will never get the shot, and the City of San Jose has no business mandating it. Vaccine mandates will raise unemployment and kill businesses as people will continue to refuse, businesses won't be able to stay open, and workers will be forced out of jobs. We must stand against forced medical procedures, and removing bodily autonomy from any person.

Open your eyes to how far this country has fallen over the last 1.5 years. This is America, We The People are governed by laws. It is time we re-read those laws; the Constitution of the United States of America.
It is unethical, un-American, and unscientific to force individuals to take any medical treatment, including vaccines. You are not medical doctors and have no legal right to coerce people via social and financial pressure into this medical decision. We have a right to full informed consent free from coercion. Do not disregard the Nuremberg Codes, which you would be violating. You will be forced out of office for this decision. Do not allow mandates in Santa Clara.

Stop covering up anything negative about this vaccine. There is no vaccine in history that has not had any adverse affects. Tylenol kills people each year yet its widely taken, and those that choose to take it realize the risks are so miniscule.
